MY AI EXPERIENCE
Hi there. I’m Vernon, and I’ve been applying various forms of AI to improve business outcomes for more than 20 years.
I developed my first AI application for what is now Accenture. We applied an early symbolic reasoning system called the AION Development System to automate the work of tax professionals. It didn’t scale very well, but I learned a lot and fell in love with cognitive computing forever.
Since then, I’ve founded, worked for, owned, advised, and invested in over a dozen companies that apply AI to streamline and improve tax analysis, content marketing, social media marketing, online advertising, algorithmic trading, customer service, document analysis, and process automation.
I created BestAIForTheJob.com to help my fellow business professionals and small business owners navigate the confusing and fast-changing landscape of AI applications, platforms, agents, foundational models, prompts, and more.
My objective for this site and our companion YouTube channel is to highlight the best AI tools, apps, and platforms that will help you get more work done in less time and at a lower cost (vs. the apps that won’t).
You will not find every AI tool and app reviewed on this site.
Instead, I spend hours every week reviewing, testing, and sifting through the fast-growing world of AI apps so you can create a shortlist you can depend on.
When I find tools and prompts that deliver as promised, I document them in product reviews, use case roundups, and How To guides on our YouTube channel and this website.
